Service Technician Wanted at Dematek AB in Gothenburg

Dematek AB is the market's most complete supplier of lifting equipment, service, and safety training. We are represented throughout Sweden and are now looking for another service technician for our Gothenburg region as our Mattias moves on to the sales department. You will work with the leading brands in the lifting industry and become part of our strong team at Dematek.

About You:

We believe you are an experienced service technician who has previously worked with cranes, elevators, or gates. Alternatively, you may be an industrial electrician looking to work with various clients. Perhaps you are passionate about assembly and have experience as an assembly leader.

You will be offered a position where you control your workdays and organize your work independently at our clients' sites. We think you appreciate working with freedom under responsibility. At our clients, you will work with preventive maintenance, service, and assembly of our products such as overhead cranes, hoists, pillar jib cranes, and much more related to lifting. We would like you to be an open person who enjoys having a lot of customer contact and likes to sell both our services and products. You will have access to a well-equipped service vehicle and many contacts to call when you need assistance.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:

• A strong interest in technology
• Previously worked as a service technician
• Documented electrical knowledge
• Experience with commonly used administrative systems
• Driver's license B
• Basic knowledge of English
• Swedish citizenship as some jobs require security clearance

It is an advantage if you have experience with mechatronics and PLC.

The work can sometimes be physically demanding, and since it may occur at great heights, you must be able to obtain a valid fitness certificate for climbing with significant elevation differences. You should be accustomed to working with forklifts, various lifts, and fall protection. Work underground may also occur.

We would like you to have a strong interest in technology, be meticulous, service-oriented, and enjoy customer contact. We expect you to communicate fluently in Swedish.

Other

You will be based at our office/workshop on Aröds Industriväg in Gothenburg and have the option to use your service vehicle as a company car. The position is full-time. There may be security classifications and alcohol and drug testing at our clients' sites.
